Festival travel in Railways to become costlier!

Festival travels from cities and metros to villages have become costlier in recent years. Bus operators both state owned and private are trying their level best to cash the rush. Till now, Railways are only cheapest sources of travel during this time. That too if you get tickets battling huge queues and damn slow IRCTC website. But now even Railway is devising ways to cash the festive seasons.

Indian Railway is planning special AC trains with premium pricing on heavy demand festive timings. The train will go non stop to their destinations. The tickets will cost you more than Triple the normal prices and will also not give you a provision to cancel. For assessing the demand, 4 trains are being run between Mumbai and New Delhi for Christmas and New Year. Up on their success, the special trains will be run across the country
