Final Notification for Amaravati Land Acquisition

CRDA has issued final notification for the Land Acquisition in the Capital Village. The notification is issued for 1019 acres in three mandals. It will impact 1061 families in five villages in the capital area.The land losing farmers who are reluctant to part ways with their land are likely to approach the high court over this land acquisition.

The district collector has given the notification for the land acquisition on Friday. The government is collecting around 33000 acres land for the capital city project. About 30000 acres were collected under the Land Pooling Scheme.

The state government is collecting the leftover 3000 acres via Land Acquisition. YSR Congress Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy is aiding the agitation against the government and is also helping the affected families in their legal battle.
