Finally, Some Good News About Corona Vaccine

Coronavirus scare is gripping the entire globe. At the time of writing this article, there are 17,83,941 Coronavirus cases with 1,09,312 deaths. Half of the countries across the globe were Locked Down to prevent the contagious disease. People and governments across the globe are eagerly waiting for a cure or vaccine to solve this mess.

However, vaccines typically take a decade or two to reach the clinics but due to the severity, scientists and researchers said Coronavirus vaccine could come in 12-18 months which is still long. However, there is good news. An Oxford professor has claimed that a vaccine for COVID-19 could be ready by autumn.

Sarah Gilbert, a professor of vaccinology at the University of Oxford and leads a team of researchers in developing a vaccine claims that she is “80 percent confident” the vaccine being developed by her team would be successful in protecting people against the disease. That means we have to wait another five months for the vaccine (September).

Several experts have expressed confidence in Professor Gilbert’s claim and said the Oxford team is highly advanced. Coronavirus has hit the economies across the globe and a massive recession is knocking the doors of several countries across the globe. Even if we have to wait until September, things would not be easy.
