Financial Help to AP will be decided by 10th!

In the wake of alarm bells ringing in Andhra Pradesh economy, Center has decided to take the issue of financial help to the state. According to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization, Center will be bearing the first year deficit of Andhra Budget and accordingly there is a deficit of 15000 Crores in the first budget put up recently.

Chief Secretary of Finance Ministry, PV Ramesh was in Delhi for the past two days and is taking up the issue with Union Finance Ministry officials. AP was asked some extra data regarding the issue which will be submitted by Monday. We are said that a final decision regarding the help for the deficit will be taken by 10th December.

It is also said that the Center will also be deciding on the promised Special Status to the state and Special Packages to Rayalaseema and Uttarandhra very soon. These decisions if in AP’s favour will propel the state’s growth in all the spheres as investors will line up to the state with several tax relaxations.
