For quite some time, ardent fans have been bursting crackers in cinema halls prior to the release of their favorite hero’s film. While such acts don’t happen in multiplexes, a big hero film means firecrackers in single screen theaters.
This could mean potential damage to theaters if things go wrong. Now, the managements of theaters at RTC X roads have warned that cases will be booked if firecrackers are burst on the premises.
They have put up posters, banners, boards and flexis with strict warning. The theaters have taken the decision following an untoward incident that happened on the night of December 4, 2024, during a premiere show.
It is known that when crazy fans burst crackers prior to Devara show, a huge cut-out of NTR caught fire and turned into ashes within minutes.
As precautionary measure, those with tickets are only being allowed into the theater for premiere shows. Similarly, during the premiere show of Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, 80 police were called for bandobast to ensure no firecrackers were burst.
Similarly, when KTR’s son went to watch Vijay Devarakonda’s Kingdom at X roads theater, care was taken to avoid any rush.
