First COVID Vaccine Available from August 12th, Amid Several Doubts

A lot has been talked about and written about Russia’s claim of the first COVID-19 vaccine. Scientific fraternity disapproves of the claim saying that bringing out a vaccine in just two months without inadequate human trials is dangerous.

But Russian President Vladamir Putin had announced that the Vaccine has got the Approval of the Health Ministry. He also announced that one of his two daughters got inoculated with the news. “After two days of fever, she is absolutely fine,” he revealed.

“The vaccine has proven efficient during tests, offering a lasting immunity from the coronavirus,” he added. Putin also announced that so far 20 countries across the globe have ordered a billion doses of the vaccine which is named Sputnik.

Russian Government already announced that medical workers, teachers, and other risk groups will be the first to be inoculated.
