Flash: IT Raids On Bhuvanagir BRS MLA House & Office

IT searches on public representatives, especially during election times, are not uncommon. In this particular case, the residence and companies of Bhuvanagiri BRS MLA Payla Shekhar Reddy are being subjected to IT searches. The searches are taking place at a total of 12 locations, including the offices of Green Hills Colony in Kottapet, Bhuvanagiri, and Hyderabad.

Hill Land Technologies Private Limited and Mainland Digital Technologies Limited are among the places being searched. MLA Payla Shekhar Reddy’s wife, Vanitha, is the director of these companies. It is reported that the IT officials are examining the details of income tax payments.

The searches are being conducted by around 30 teams, and the exact reasons and findings of these IT searches are yet to be known. These IT searches have caused tension within the BRS party, and it is not surprising given the political climate during election periods.

It is worth noting that Telangana Chief Minister KCR has previously warned MLAs and ministers about such IT attacks. The extent and impact of these searches on BRS MLAs and other members are still uncertain.
