Forget help, Center denying AP rightful funds!

The Central government is already being criticized for being extremely insensitive to Andhra Pradesh and not lending help to the truncated state. But the truth is that the Center is not releasing funds to the state which are its rightful share. The Center is supposed to get 3204.72 as its share in Central taxes.

Finance Minister in December promised to give 700 Crore of it by the end of this financial year but not a single rupee is released till now. The state officials are expecting the funds to come by March 31st and they are expecting one more 1000 Crore by the end of 2015-16.

However it is said that Chandrababu Naidu instructed officials that 1000 Crore from Center is most unlikely case and asked them to put in actual figures. This 3204.72 Crore is for the state share in central taxed from 2010-11 to 2012-13.
