Former Karnataka CM meets Pawan Kalyan

Former Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy met Powerstar Pawan Kalyan a little while ago in Hyderabad. Both of them had a closed-door meeting for about an hour. Kumaraswamy after the meeting went on to say he met the actor to bless his son, Nikhil Gowda who is making his filmy debut with Jaguar.

However, there is a buzz from a long time that JDS is trying to rope Pawan Kalyan to campaign for the party in the upcoming Assembly elections in Karnataka. In order to grab votes on the Karnataka-Andhra-Telangana border, including the Balija community votes, JDS is trying to rope in Pawan Kalyan to win some seats in these areas.

Pawan Kalyan campaigned for BJP here in the last elections but it will be suicidal to do that again since BJP’s image is at all time low in Andhra Pradesh. Kumaraswamy probably tried to rope him in. It has to be seen if Pawan Kalyan will change his political stance all of sudden and go against BJP. And there is also no rationale of campaigning in Karnataka while being inactive in Telugu Politics.
