KTR was recently booked for the alleged Formula E scam. ACB booked a case against him as well as IAS officer Aravind Kumar and former HMDA chief engineer BLN Reddy.

Current MAUD Principal Secretary Dana Kishore filed a case against KTR accusing him of making illegal transactions through HMDA officials to the Formula E organizers without the required permissions.

It was alleged that then MAUD Secretary, Aravind Kumar approved these transactions under the instructions of KTR, which the government claims is a blatant violation of financial regulations.

ACB named KTR A1 in the case while Aravind Kumar and BLN Reddy were named A2 and A3 respectively. However, KTR filed a quash petition in the High Court.

After hearing the case, the court ordered ACB not to arrest KTR until 30th December and asked KTR to cooperate with officials during the investigation.

Just after the court’s order, ED entered the scene and started an investigation. It is heard that ED will serve notices to the accused individuals within two days.
