4 YSR Congress Leaders Whom TDP Wants To Defeat

We are inching closer to the end of the Election Campaign. According to the rules, all outdoor campaigns are to be closed 48 hours before the Polling which means 9th of this month. Ruling Telugu Desam Party is looking confident of coming to Power once again. However, the party is moving pawns to defeat four main leaders in the YSR Congress.

These are the leaders who are vocal and have created problems for TDP. They are Roja from Nagiri, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy from Chandragiri, Kodali Nani from Gudivada, and Anil Kumar Yadav from Nellore City. Late Muddu Krishnama Naidu’s son, Bhanu is taking on Roja. He is taking all local leaders into confidence and is using the anti-incumbency on Roja to the fullest in this fight.

Pulivarthi Nani, TDP district president, is the MLA candidate for Chandragiri constituency. Nani has good connections in the district and is in the middle of the people for the last couple of years. TDP will also have to withstand the muscle power of Chevireddy here.

Kodali Nani is facing the heat from Devineni Avinash whom he thought will be an easy bet initially. Kodali Nani is a three-time MLA and things are not good at the ground level. Last but not least Minister Narayana is fielded against Anil Kumar Yadav in Nellore City constituency. Anil has come under scanner with a recent video in which he warns of political killings.

Also, it is not easy to match the money power of Narayana. Having said that all, these four YSR Congress Leaders despite looking vulnerable have it in them to spring a surprise. Except for Roja, all of them are known for their last-minute electioneering. It has to be seen if TDP will be able to defeat all or some of them.
