Ganta Looking Suspicious, Another Party Change?

HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao reportedly skipped the Cabinet meeting the other day in Amaravati as he intentionally stayed back in Vishakapatnam. He did not come in touch with the party leaders as well. Ghanta is upset with ABN Survey about which said there is a big public resentment over him in his Bheemili constituency.

He is of the opinion that Chandrababu did not stop it from coming. Ganta is also upset about the Chief Minister did nothing to control another minister, Ayanna Pathrudu who is trying to corner him in all the possible ways. Chandrababu will be touring Vishakapatnam today and he has official programs in Ganta’s Bheemili constituency as well.

It has to be seen if he will attend them. Ghanta first started his political career with TDP. He joined Praja Rajyam Party when Chiranjeevi floated it. He is one of the few MLAs who won from Praja Rajyam. He got a cabinet berth after PRP merger with Congress and later came back to TDP just before the 2014 elections.

With the history of shifting parties frequently, there are doubts all over if Ganta Srinivasa Rao is looking for other options ahead of the 2019 Elections. We may get the answer today itself. Needless to say, the ruling party will be worried about these developments. Opposition parties are likely to welcome him with open arms if ready
