Ganta’s Political Future Still Undecided

Telugu Desam Party released the third list of the candidates for eleven Assembly segments and Thirteen Parliament segments. With this, only five assembly segments and four MP segments are to be announced.

Among the five yet-to-be-announced Assembly segments, Cheepurupalli and Bheemili are also present.

These two seats are connected to Former Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao. Chandrababu wants Ganta to go to Cheepurupalli and contest on Botsa Satyanarayana.

Ganta won from Vizag North in 2019 and the seat has gone to the BJP now.

He says he can not do politics 150 kilometers away from his place and wants Chandrababu to allot some seat in Vizag district preferably Bheemili.

There is no clarity about Ganta’s future even in this list. Both Cheepurupalli and Bheemili are kept pending. Buzz is that Chandrababu is insisting Ganta contest from Cheepurupalli or confine to the party work.

Another Senior leader, Devineni Uma’s Myalavaram seat is allotted to Vasantha Krishna Prasad who defected from YSR Congress.

Another Senior Kala Venkat Rao is expecting the Etcherla ticket. There are rumors that it has been allotted to the BJP.

Paritala Sriram is expecting Dharamavaram ticket and his name did not figure in the list. There are rumors it will go to the BJP.
