Get Back to Jail Immediately – SC to Sasikala

Supreme Court has refused to entertain a plea of Sasikala Natarajan seeking Four Weeks time to surrender for serving a jail term in Disproportionate Assets Case. “We do not intend to pass any order on this. We are not going to change anything in the judgment, the court commented on the case.

That means Sasikala will have to rush to Bengaluru and surrender herself before the high court. She will be later taken to Bengaluru’s Parapana Agrahara Prison. She will move a review petition on the Verdict once she surrenders.

Sasikala was eager to avoid prison until her loyalist, Edapadi Palanisamy manages to ascend the Chief Minister throne. With out Sasikala, it will be difficult to keep all the supporting MLAs united. But with the Supreme Court’s denial of more time will make sure she is behind the bars.
