Get Your Name on Moon for Rs.500! No Kidding

What can you see in the moon standing on the terrace? A rabbit? Or a mother feeding her child? Or may be your name on the moon! Though you can’t make your name on the moon seen from the earth, you have a chance to get your name on the surface of the moon.

TeamIndus as a part of raising funds for the first private moon mission has called for donors who are interested in having their names on the moon. And the cost for this chance is Rs. 500 each which can easily be afforded by the common man.

The microsize names would be engraved on an aluminum plate which would be left on the surface of the moon. TeamIndus wants to pool in the investment from donors to meet the budget for the mission which is $60 million.

TeamIndus in collaboration wit ISRO is going to send the rover on the moon which takes high definition videos and images and send back to earth. The mission is a pathway to the major project Chandrayan 2.
