Girl Becomes Famous for Bundle of 2000 Rs Notes

The demonetisation of Rs 500 and 1000 currency notes has caused a lot of upheaval in the Indian market. Many are using this time of confusion to spread false information.

For instance the social media is full of a photo of a girl carrying a bundle of Rs. 2000 notes. Caption that went along with the picture claimed that the girl holding the bundle was the daughter BJP’s Uttar Pradesh chief, Keshav Prasad Maurya. These claims combined with Kejriwal’s accusations of Narendra Modi government having forewarned its friends about the demonetisation move enraged common social media users. However, since then the truth has come out. The picture seems to be from the Delhi’s Jhandewalan chest or a bank where new currency notes were sent by the RBI. Incidentally, Keshav Prasad Maurya is father only to two sons and has no daughters.

Meanwhile, people who have managed to get the new 2000 rupee notes are jubilant and are sharing selfies with the new notes on social media.
