US Consulates across the globe have started asking for the Social Media Profiles of the Visa Applicants particularly those of students intending to move to the US for higher studies. Messages against Trump, Hate Crimes etc may land in trouble.

Such messages will create suspicion in the minds of Visa officers thereby affecting the student’s chances for admission in a US college. Seeking information about social media identities are part of the new security procedures being implemented from May 25 this year.
