Governor Vs KCR Once Again!

For a long time now, Telangana governor Tamilisai has been at crossroads with the chief minister and BRS supremo, KCR. This has turned all the more blatant now with the governor rejecting the MLC candidates referred by the Telangana cabinet.

Going into the story, it is common for governors to approve the MLC candidates referred by the state cabinet for the governor quota MLC tickets. But this hasn’t happened with Telangana governor Tamilisai now.

Tamilisai has rejected the candidature of Dasoju Sravan and Kurra Satyanarayana for the MLC elections. She has rejected the proposal of the Telangana cabinet and turned down these two candidates.

“My request to the cabinet and chief minister is to avoid such politically aligned people for these posts. As such, their nomination has been rejected” the file returned by the governor said. This is one of those rare occasions where the governor rejects the candidates referred by the chief minister and his cabinet.

The governor vs KCR was is turning all the more intense and more so, right before Telangana goes to polls in two months from now.
