The Telangana government has taken a new step. It has started whatsapp governance in Hyderabad, beginning on Monday, July 28.
Hyderabad Collector Harichandana made the announcement. Those who cannot attend prajavani can now reach out to the government through the whatsapp number – 7416687878. They can register their grievances on whatsapp number given.
Every whatsapp message will be considered and a unique code will be given. An acknowledgement will be sent through whatsapp.
The Collector shared that they will refer the grievances to the concerned departments. This will be followed by an Action Taken Report (ATR).
The new facility will be useful for employees, elderly and specially-abled who cannot attend prajavani or browse through online portal, said Harichandana.
The facility is part of citizen friendly governance, said Harichandana. The objective is to ensure greater reach and transparency in the process.
