Half-Truths to crop in Textbooks of Telugu States!

The Telugu States after the bifurcation have been behaving as India and Pakistan after partion. The political differences between ruling parties of both the states are going to an extent in creating rifts between people on both the sides. Recently both the states have decided to revise their text book so as to eliminate or remove the history of other side.

It is said that the text books of Telangana will undergo a complete makeover with more emphasis on the kings, writers etc of the region. They are also planning to have detailed lessons about the Nizam, of course their positive side only will figure in. They are also planning to get rid of excessively Sanskritised Telugu that is native to the Krishna delta and foreign to Telangana

Andhra Pradesh text books on the other side will completely eliminate the struggle for separate statehood of Telangana for about 58 years. Experts fear that between this text book war, the cultural and linguistic nuances of both the states will be lost.
