Global Summit Is Real Estate Summit: Harish Rao

Ex Minister Harish Rao has strongly criticised the ruling Congress government over the Telangana Rising Global Summit. The Revanth Reddy government promoted the Summit as a major chance to attract global investments for Telangana.

Harish Rao attacked the government and called the Global Summit a real estate summit. He said it was organized to sell lands. He compared it to the Miss World pageant and AI Summit, and said the Global Summit was also an utter flop.

The BRS leader said crores were spent on the Summit and all of it resulted in a complete failure. He tweeted that the Revanth government used the event to cover up a real estate scam. Harish Rao claimed that the Summit was planned only to hide irregularities.

He said the vision document lacked vision. He added that there was no mission to support it and called it a vision less document. Harish Rao wrote that Revanth is a chor who is fooling people with his Cure Pure Rare concept. He also claimed that dark and secret deals were made at the Summit and said the numbers shown were used to mislead people.

Harish Rao questioned Revanth’s travel to various countries in the past two years. He said crores were spent on those summits too. He asked if any projects were grounded or if the Telangana youth secured jobs from these visits.

He challenged Revanth to release a white paper if he has guts. Harish Rao said Tony Blair and Subbarao praised Hyderabad’s growth during the past decade when KCR was in power. He said their comments were a slap on the face of Revanth Reddy. Harish Rao wrote on X that the Global Summit was not held for investments and that it was an effort to sell lands.
