Haryana: BJP’s Huge Shocker To Congress

Defying all exit poll predictions, the BJP is leading and has crossed the magical mark in the early trends of the Haryana Assembly Elections.

As of now, out of 90 seats, BJP is leading in 49 seats, while Congress is leading in 35 seats. The Indian National Lok Dal and Bahujan Samaj Party are leading in one seat each. Four independent candidates are also leading.

The majority of the exit polls predicted Congress would defeat the BJP in the Haryana elections. It was predicted that Congress would win more than 45 seats, while BJP would be confined to 25-35 seats.

However, the BJP has defied all odds and is leading across the state. It is being predicted that they will form the government for the third consecutive time.

Congress leaders began celebrating before the counting, but the celebrations were subdued after the results turned around. It is a huge shock for them.

On the other side, as expected, the BJP is trailing in Jammu and Kashmir. Out of 90 seats, the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference is leading in 42 seats, whereas BJP is leading in 29. Indian National Congress is leading in eight seats.
