Heritage Sends Legal Notice To AP Minister

Chandrababu Naidu family-owned Heritage Foods limited has sent a legal notice to Andhra Pradesh I&PR Minister, Perni Nani. The Minister made an allegation that Chandrababu Naidu had transported Red Sanders illegally out of the state to Japan using Heritage vehicles in 2017.

Sakshi has aired the News first in 2017 but it got debunked immediately that miscreants painted Heritage logo on the van and the vehicle is no way related to the company. Andhra Pradesh police also ratified that the company has no role whatsoever in that episode. Sakshi, on expected lines, refused to issue a rejoinder accordingly.

The media group is facing a case in XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court in Hyderabad from 2018. Heritage in the legal notice gave the minister seven days time to retract his statement or face legal action. The company calls the statement by the minister a politically motivated statement.

Perni Nani is unlikely to retract his statement for obvious reasons. So, this may snowball into another legal issue.
