High Court Division Now Goes into SC Chief Justice’s Hands?

Central Government seems to have changed its stance on the High Court Bifurcation. Earlier, Hyderabad High Court judges have toured the Amaravati Capital Region and examined the facilities on offer for the setting of the high court.

But then, in the Center’s Affidavit to the Supreme Court the other day, it is said that Supreme Court Chief Justice and Andhra Pradesh Government will discuss and decide on the location and other infrastructure needed for the high court.

It is already known to our readers that the Central Government has decided that the Bifurcation of the Hyderabad High Court can happen only when the facility of a new high court is ready in Amaravati. Telangana Government alleges that AP Government is intentionally delaying that as it does not want the high court division.
