High Court Doubts of Stopping Amaravati Using Fake Companies?

One more company, Ms.Envian Engineers has approached Hyderabad High Court challenging the revised form of Swiss Challenge method which AP is proposing to build core area of its capital Amaravati city terming it as faulty. But then, the high court judge who heard this plea sought to know the credentials of the company to question the plans of the state in this regard.

The judge has directed the company to furnish its annual turnover details for five years to the court and also to prove its competency to substantiate its claim that it can participate in competitive bidding under the Swiss Challenge method. The judge is suspicious of attempting to stop the capital construction using dubious companies.

The company was a represented by a senior counsel and alleged that government had incorporated a clause to help the Singapore consortium. But then the judge asked the petitioner to establish its credentials first and adjourned the case.
