High court gives stay on Phone Tapping notice!

Hyderabad high court had granted stay on the notice to Telangana Home Secretary, Rajiv Trivedi issued by Vijayawada Court. Trivedi was served a notice to attend the court proceedings in Vijayawada on the phone tapping issue.

High court granted relief to the IAS officer by issuing a stay on the lower court’s order. There were several complaints in AP regarding the tapping of phones of AP Chief Minister and other minister by Telangana government.

While Vijayawada court is moving forward on these cases, Telangana government is managing to obtain stay from the high court saying that this case may lead to the issues of national security.
