High Court serious on RTC Employees!

High Court of Telugu States today became very serious on RTC Employee unions who did not obey its order of calling off the strike. The court once again reiterated that their strike is illegal. However the court opined that RTC employees were also government employees.

However the court did not clarify if the employees should be given 43% fitments on par with the remaining government employees.On the other side the employee unions clarified to the court that they have right to do strike under Industrial disputes Act for which the court did not agree.

It is known that RTC Employees in both the states are on strike for the last seven days demanding 43% fitment along with the other government employees. But the debt ridden corporation came forward with only 27% fitment which is the highest in RTC history. But still the employees are not satisfied.
