High Court Wrongs Police in Chandrababu’s Vishaka Tour

Former TDP MLA, Sravan Kumar filed a Lunch Motion Petition in Andhra Pradesh High Court against Police failure in Chandrababu Naidu’s Vishakapatnam Tour the other day. He brought to the notice of the court that the Police completely failed to control YSR Congress supporters who intentionally stormed to the Airport.

The Court wronged Police giving notice under Section 151 to Chandrababu Naidu when his Vishakapatnam visit has all the necessary permissions from the department. “Section 151 notice is given to prevent a person from doing a crime. But it is not the case here,” the judge opined.

The court also questioned how the protestors were allowed into the High-Security Zone with stones, eggs, and Tomatoes and why action is not taken on the protestors? The court asked the DGP and Vishakapatnam DCP to file an affidavit with complete details and posted the next hearing to March 2nd.

Chandrababu is likely to take up a new yatra to Uttarandhra in the first week of March.
