High Tension in Amaravati as Police Try to Arrest Women

Ever since Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy hinted about the possibility of three capitals, the farmers who have given lands for Amaravati are in panic mode and have hit roads demanding the rollback of the decision. After 16 days of protests, farmers have called for a Sakala Janula Samme from today.

Except for essential services like Hospitals, Pharmacies, and Milk Supply, all the other establishments were closed. Police have decided to crush the protest with an iron fist. A huge contingent of police descended in Mandadam village and tried to arrest the protesting forests.
