Historic Golkonda Hosts Telangana’s I-Day Celebrations!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao hoisted the National Flag at the historic Golconda fort a little while ago. KCR wished the people of the state on the occasion of 70th Independence day celebrations. “Telangana is cruising in all the areas and the state is first in the country in welfare programs,” KCR said in his I-Day address.

“The country is looking at us now,” KCR said reading out the list of the various achievements of his government. KCR earlier received the honorary salute from the Police personnel. The artists of the cultural department performed on the eve. There are no tableau exhibition this year as well due to space constraints at the Golconda Fort.

Few People’s representatives, VIPs, Students have attended the event. On the other side, a new flag sourced from a Dubai-based company was unfurled at Sanjeevaiah Park. It is known that Telangana government had hoisted the biggest ever National flag in the country there on the state formation day.
