Hoax Bomb Threat to Godavari Pushkaralu

Tension is mounting as Godavari Pushkaralu, Andhra Pradesh’s biggest mass event is underway. Already the stampede on the first day killed 27 people. This morning a revolver was found at a ghat in Kovvur.

And a short while ago, Police were running hither and tither with a anonymous phone call.The phone call said that there is a bomb in a boat at Vasishta VIP ghat. Police had immediately alerted bomb squad.

They have checked the boats and decided that the phone call is hoax. Pilgrims totally got panicked as the police were checking the ghats. The authorities have announced people not to believe in rumours which can lead to chaos and stampedes.
