
Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha narrowly escaped a serious road accident while travelling to Alampuram.
The incident occurred near Kaikaram village in the Ungutooru mandal of Eluru district. The minister was travelling in her convoy from Vijayawada to Alampuram in West Godavari district.
The escort vehicle which is on the front of the convoy suddenly braked to avoid hitting a bike, causing the minister’s vehicle to collide with it from behind.
In this minor accident, both the minister’s vehicle and the escort vehicle were damaged a bit. Fortunately, everyone involved was safe and didn’t sustain any injuries.
After the incident, Minister Anitha proceeded to Alampuram in a different car.
Vangalapudi Anitha was recently elected from the Pakayaraopet constituency in the Andhra Pradesh general elections.
After forming the government, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu appointed her to the prestigious Home Affairs Ministry.
