10K CCTVs to watch Hyderabad!

Telangana Government has constitued a high-powered committee to build the most modern facility of the upcoming Police Commissionerate in Hyderabad with 150 acres. The building will come in 6 acres land at Banjara Hills Road.12.The sprawling building will have 22 Floors and will have a modern and state-of-art Integrated Command and Control Centre to keep a check on Law and Order and the Traffic Problems in the twin cities.

The plan is to install over a ten thousand CCTVs in the city and continuously monitor with a giant screen like a film theater screen on which the entire traffic flow in the twin cities can be seen any time on demand and also to monitor the law and order in the state.The present commissionerate at Basheerbagh is too small and there is a long standing demand to expand it.

There is also a facility to command, control and coordination of emergency response of several kinds along with the requirements of daily policing operations.Video and audio conferencing centre with State and national level departments/agencies, geographical information system (GIS) will be available in the building.
