Date Set For Asia’s Biggest U.S. Consulate

Right now, those visiting or flying to the US for work or study would go to the US consulate at Paigah Palace. Now, US Consulate General will officially begin its operations at its newly acquired office on March 20 in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad.

The operations will cease at 12 pm on March 15 at Paigah Palace. The Consulate will be closed to the public from 12 pm on March 15 until 8.30 am on March 20. Those requiring emergency consular services during these days will have to call 040 4033 8300. From 8.30 am on March 20, US citizens who want consular services will have to call 040 6932 8000.

Those who have interviews scheduled should go to Paigah Plaza till March 15. Post that, visa applicants who have an interview on or after March 23 will have to go to Nanakramguda.

However, services, including biometrics appointments, Dropbox appointments, and passport pickup, will take place at Visa Application Center located at Lower Concourse, Hitec City Metro Station, Madhapur, Hyd-500081.
