HYD Hotel’s Act to a Woman Makes Buzz on the Internet

She is from Singapore and travels places owing to her profession. Then she came to Hyderabad and faced something new and awkward. Nupur Saraswat booked a Hotel room in Hyderabad on Goibibo, also got a confirmation of the booking. Yet, when she reached the hotel at late evening, she was refused to check-in by the management and the reason for that might startle you.

The hotel policies say the hotel wouldn’t be hosting a “single lady” which is why Nupur was denied of checking in the hotel that she actually booked in advance. “Why did they allow her booking when they have such restriction? They should have put certain filters for the booking”, remarks Nupur.

She took the incident to the Facebook and posted the whole episode in detail. She says the hotel thought a single lady is safe on the streets rather than allowing her to stay “single” in the hotel. However, after all the ruckus created, Goibibo gave the lady a complimentary stay at a different hotel which has no such policy and assured to put appropriate filters to eliminate such errors.
