Man Saved 6 Lives: Kurnool Accident

The country woke up to a tragic fire accident on a Hyderabad-to-Bengaluru bus early Friday morning. As flames engulfed the vehicle while passengers were asleep, 19 people lost their lives, and 20 others escaped with minor injuries.

Some passengers managed to survive by breaking the windows and jumping out. One traveller, Naveen, emerged as a hero after saving six people. He said he was driving from Hindupur to Nandyal when he saw the bus on fire. The flames were intense, leaving no safe way to approach it.

According to Naveen, a passenger named Ramesh broke a window and crawled out first, helping others follow. The narrow opening caused injuries from the shattered glass, but it was their only way out. Naveen then rushed six survivors to a government hospital in his car.

Another commuter, Hyma Reddy, who was travelling from Puttaparthi to Hyderabad, immediately alerted the police and helped coordinate rescue efforts.

Authorities have begun investigating the cause of the fire, while rescue teams and local officials continue to assist victims and their families.
