Ok, will tell you. It is gold rice! Yeah! believe it or not, its the gold rice that is being served at the weddings now. Not exactly the gold rice as people can’t eat it. This is the gold plated rice and is becoming a trend these days at Telugu weddings. Not just the rice, there are sweets being served wrapped in gold and silver foils too.

A video of such grand feast has been shared by the Hyderabadi caterer V Sai Radha Krishna which shows rice served on banana leaves and a foil of gold/silver being placed on the rice being served. All is good. But how safe is it to eat gold? the caterer says it is totally safe as the metal is indigestible and wouldn’t be a problem. Try this if you are planning a lavish wedding.
