Immigrants in Hyderabad to get separate IDs

Cyberabad Police have decided to issue identity cards to legal and illegal immigrants after verifying their antecedents. They have arrived at this decision after the recent arrests of some illegal migrants in Old City, after they are found to be aiding HuJi terrorists.

Presently, 1,725 Myanmar refugees are staying in Hyderabad and Cyberabad police commissionerate limits and only 461 of them have the ID cards issued by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Police department is planning to issue ID cards to remaining.

Police are taking this exercise very seriously. They will question each immigrant (in camps) individually. Immigrants with clean background will get a separate ID card by the police. This ID card can be used by them as proof while obtaining jobs or other requirements.
