Hyderabad is set to become a major hub for advanced technology as plans move forward to transform it into a ‘Physical Intelligence City’. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy said that they are using technical knowledge to make the city the most livable in the country. Analog AI CEO Alex Kipman met him at his Jubilee Hills residence to discuss the project.
Both leaders exchanged views on traffic challenges, urban flooding, lake conservation, weather assessment and ways to reduce environmental pollution using modern technology. They agreed that with the help of ‘physical intelligence’, a real time sensor network can support smart city management.
They decided to begin a pilot project in Greater Hyderabad. The pilot will run for eight weeks. As part of this plan, CCTVs will be upgraded into a real time city intelligence platform. Traffic, public safety and emergency services will be managed using AI, with all activities monitored from the Integrated Command Control Center.
If the pilot succeeds, Hyderabad will become the first ‘physically intelligence’ city in India. CM Revanth Reddy also shared his vision to develop Bharat Future City as a research and sustainable industrial hub.
He explained the objectives of Telangana Rising 2027. Kipman added that he believes ‘physical intelligence’ will offer strong solutions for financial and urban challenges. The Chief Minister invited Kipman to the Telangana Rising Global Summit on December 8 and 9.
