Hyd gets second Free WiFi spot

The Union government’s Free WiFi services in important Railway Stations of the country is now at Secunderabad Railway Station. Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya started this service a short while ago. Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao also attended the event.

Secunderabad Railway Station is the first Railway Station in South Central Railway to get this free WiFi facility. The passengers will be able to use 30 minutes of Free WiFi under this scheme.

Interestingly, Telangana government rolled out similar service in and around Tank Bund. However it turned out to be a flop show as the users were unable to browse the next due to poor network. We will have to see if the Modi government’s offering will be any different.
