A recent incident regarding a Hyderabad man murdering his wife has gone viral, bringing waves of shock to many people due to the sheer gore and disturbing nature of the crime.
Venkata Madhavi, aged 35, had gone missing on January 16th, leading to a report being filed by her parents and husband Guru Murthy.
The police grew more and more suspicious of the husband due to his unusual behaviour during their preliminary investigation.
When they questioned him regarding this, he narrated to them a bone-chilling tale of his crime.
Guru Murthy after reportedly killing his wife, then chopped up her body and boiled her remains in a pressure cooker to hide his tracks.
The former soldier went ahead to confess grinding her bones multiple times in a pestle, cooking them with her flesh time and again, before neatly packing his gruesome deed and dumping it into a lake.
Social media has been stunned by this incident, with many expressing themselves online.
One user said, “This is a disgrace to humanity. How can someone live with themselves after doing something so horrific?”
Another commented, “This makes me sick to my stomach. I can’t imagine the terror the poor woman must have endured.”
While the police have still not verified his confession, it is only a matter of time before some proof lands in their lap.
