Hyderabad IT Firms to Be Equipped with Arms?

Cyberabad Police have instructed all the IT Companies to have arms licenses, considering the security of the employees. They were also asked to employ security guards who are aware of the kind of weapons being used by the assailant so that they can be vigilant always.

Currently, IT companies outsource security duties to service providers, but they are responsible for procuring the arms licenses. Companies are also growing vigilant and there has been increasing in a number of companies securing the licenses.

The companies are also keen on employing security heads from defense or ex-policemen and thus, they are well-versed with use of modern weapons. “It is not about being fearful, but being ready to react in an appropriate manner,” Cyberabad Police said.
