Hyderabadi Facebook Romeo Nabbed

Abburi Somaiah is nabbed by Police for being a Romeo Thief on Facebook. Somaiah would befriend girls on Facebook introducing himself as a realtor from AP and promise jobs in his firm. He then asks for accomodation as he is new to the city. During his stay in the houses of his victims he steals gold, laptops, mobile phones and other gadgets.

During his arrest, Police managed to recover 13 laptops, 14 cellphones, an Apple IPad and 50 grams of gold worth Rs10 lakh from him. Women from posh colonies are always his target. He keeps changing his places very often for escaping the police and never stays in lodges for more than two or three days.

The accused hails from the Tanguturu Mandal of Prakasam district reportedly cheated more than 10 women till now. He will be presented in the court on Monday.
