Hyderabadis in love with Mobile Shopping!

Hyderabadis seem to be more tech-savvy than the denizens of other metros (except Bangalore) in the country. According to a report from Freepaisa, an application tryout platform for Android devices, Hyderabad is the second metro in the country (after Bangalore) where in users download maximum number of shopping applications developed by e-commerce giants.

It is also reported that the total 55% of the shopping they do is through these apps in 2014. The findings of the study are limited to downloads through the Freepaisa application which means the actual market will be even higher.

e-commerce giants are rolling out special offers to their customers when ordered through mobile apps to increase their customer base in this segment. Also it is revealed that 23 per cent of the total three lakh action performed from Freepaisa, were performed on tablets testifying to the growing use of large screen devices.
