I Guarantee 100 MLAs, 15 MPs in Next Polls: Revanth

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy gave a speech that is bound to put a smile on the faces of Congress followers and Revanth Reddy’s followers within Telangana Congress.

The CM was speaking at the Congress Meet held at LB Stadium on Friday. Revanth Reddy spoke in Hindi and Telugu and made a promise to the public gathered and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge.

The promise gains prominence at a time when the state is on the brink of going for local body polls. The opposition BRS and BJP are claiming that Telangana Congress has lost its base within people. They say that people are already vexed with the governance of Revanth Reddy.

But the Telangana CM claimed that he will ensure that the Congress gets 100 MLA seats and 15 MP seats during the next general elections in the state.

If we get even 1 seat less, question me, he told Kharge on the public forum. But it is your responsibility to bring Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and KC Venugopal at the time of elections, Reddy told Kharge.

While it sounds as confidence as the party is in power in the state, political analysts feel that Revanth Reddy’s claim will only make sense after Telangana goes for local body polls.
