I-PAC: Rapaka May Lose Deposit In Razole

Rapaka Varaprasad is the sole MLA who won on Janasena ticket in 2019 elections. But he later defied the party line and is continuing as an Unofficial MLA of YSR Congress. Janasainiks and the Kapu community are seething in anger over him.

Meanwhile, the party’s internal surveys paint a grim picture of the constituency for Rapaka. So, Jagan is planning to change the candidate in Rapaka’s Razole constituency.

There is widespread dissatisfaction in the constituency of Rapaka. Recently, he brought disrepute to the party saying that he always won by rigging in the election.

After getting elected on the Janasena ticket, he immediately troubled the local YSR Congress cadre and leaders with cases before joining the YSR Congress. They are not ready to cooperate with him.

There are also many corruption allegations against him in the constituency. He is also accused of plundering the natural resources. Hence, a new in charge appointment has become imminent.

Sources say that I-PAC reports say that YSR Congress may struggle to get a deposit if Rapaka is the candidate.
