If We Lose, Ministers Will Lose Jobs: Revanth

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has given a clear understanding to his Cabinet colleagues and MLAs during the PCC Meet in Gandhi Bhavan. The CM made it clear that winning in local body elections was the responsibility of ministers.

If the party loses big, then the ministers will be removed, he said. Similarly, promotions would be given to those where the winning percentage is high.

He is said to have directed the party members to set aside differences and work in unity. Revanth was also angry with leaders who were holding press meets and discussing issues that should be discussed internally.

The CM also expressed his anger over protests with sheep in front of Gandhi Bhavan. He gave strict instructions not to entertain such acts in Gandhi Bhavan.

Revanth Reddy said that the incharge ministers were not focusing on local polls. He told them to fill the nominated posts in districts at the earliest. He also expressed his views on holding dharnas for not getting minister’s post. Revanth made it clear that such acts are not welcome. We must work together with discipline, he said.

The CM said he earned his post by taking up party activities. 65 who worked for the party got posts. But if one turns lazy after getting posts, then the party will take disciplinary action, clarified Revanth.

He told the party karyakartas to work for the party at grassroots level and ensure Congress party’s win in local body polls. He said if the party wins in 2029, many will get seats.

Revanth directed the leaders to take the slogan of 18-month rule being a golden period into people. The leaders are the conduit between the party and people, said the CM.
