Immediately After Political Comeback, Mohan Babu Gets One Year Jail

Collection King Mohan Babu recently joined YSR Congress and became active in Politics. He hit the roads to campaign for the party. Out of nowhere, the actor is in a big shock as Erramanzil court awarded him a jail term of one year in 40 Lakhs Cheque Bounce Case filed by Director YVS Chowdary.

Mohan Babu who is A2, in this case, is also imposed a fine of 41.75 Lakhs fine. His Production House, Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures is the A1 and was imposed 10000 fine. The case is related to the default of remuneration to YVS Chowdary for 2009 Release, Salim starring Manchu Vishnu. The movie ended up as a big disaster and the cheque bounced.

Mohan Babu has avoided the communication with YVS after that and he approached the court in 2010. After several hearings for Nine years, the court finalized the sentence. Mohan Babu will have to spend another three months in jail if he fails to pay the fine. Mohan Babu already applied for Bail in this case and will appeal the judgment in the high court.
