In Pleasing The Employees, Jagan Doing A Big Mistake

After losing Power in 2004, Chandrababu Naidu somehow believed that Government Employees were the main reason for his loss as he tried to impose strict discipline on them. After coming back to Power, he tried appeasing them with high fitment and at the same time tried to bring in accountability with Biometric Attendance.

Chandrababu lost once again and after coming to Power, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy eased the Biometric Attendance clause and suddenly there is an upsurge of crass indiscipline across many Government Offices in the State. There is no Timings Maintenance and absolutely no on time delivery of services.

Jagan should realise that such a behaviour will only trouble the people and will tarnish the image of his Government. Whatever good a Government do, it is the bureaucrats and governments Officials who should ensure the delivery. Jagan should somehow make that work.

Jagan is already after pleasing the employees by announcing 27% Interim Relief something which is not affordable even to the surplus budget Telangana. It is important for him to be in their good books due to Political Needs but at the same time, the Chief Minister should enforce discipline into them.
