Income Tax Raids on Companies of TDP (TS) Senior

Income Tax Department continues to raid the companies belonging to TDP leaders in both the Telugu States in the wake of strained relations between TDP and BJP. IT raids are going on companies belonging to TDP(TS) Senior leader, Devender Goud. Earlier his companies in Uttarandhra were raided and now raids are on in Hyderabad Companies.

Devender Goud’s son, Veerender Goud is contesting on TDP Ticket from Uppal. He filed his nomination yesterday. TDP is contesting the elections in an alliance with Congress. TDP leaders allege that these raids are targeted to hit the morale of TDP and Congress ahead of the Telangana Elections in December.

Veerender Goud is one of the directors of Ravi Foods Private Limited, which manufactures biscuits, wafers under the Brand Name of Dukes and Waffy. He recently stepped down as the company’s director. Ravi Foods is an Rs 1500-crore revenue-earning company, including 400 Crore Exports.
